After hand-staining, hardware is added, and the base is powered. It is transformed into a functional utility tray. Look at the process below and see how the tray goes from order submit to drum kit.
With a 20- by 14-inch surface, the Power Tray provides ample space for gear such as a mixer, laptop/tablet computer, or sticks, brushes, rods, and mallets. The thick wood construction and hand-stained finish provide a durable and attractive alternative to cheaply made plastic trays, while the front lip offers containment for equipment. Add our “sticky pads” to keep your stuff in place, or place the Power Tray towel on the surface to quietly deposit your “beating utensils”!
Our custom-made Power Tray clamp has been designed with shallow, 20-degree flanges, which allow the tray to be securely clamped to virtually any sized cymbal stand or piece of drum hardware. It can also be clamped to mic stands and music stands. (Just keep it over a tripod leg for stability!) The extended carriage bolts also provide the spread needed to clamp the tray to speaker stands.
The Power Tray is available in four standard colors - “Nunmoore Black” (if you know, you know); Oak; Espresso; and Foxy Orange (in honor of late KISS drummer Eric Carr). We can also do custom colors upon request!

The final product combines functionality with style and flair. The Power Tray provides the functionality of a utility tray with the convenience of an added recessed power strip. Combining these two essentials means you’ll never be without one or the other! The three standard 110-volt electrical outlets and two USB ports allow you to power or charge gear and devices such as a mixer, sample pad, laptop, tablet, smartphone, stand light, and more, while the extension cord provides 6 feet of reach to a power source. Gather and secure the cord after use with the handy elastic band and knob underneath!
